The five-time Pro Bowl cornerback passed his physical and practiced with New York on Tuesday after signing a one-year deal to rejoin the team he played for three seasons ago.

McAlister underwent surgery Monday to repair his posterior cruciate ligament and cartilage damage on his right knee in Coral Gables, Fla. McAlister, who leads the Ravens with three interceptions, has had problems with the knee dating to last season.

Man pleads not guilty to shooting of Jags’ Collier

The man charged with shooting Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Richard Collier 14 times has pleaded not guilty.

Tyrone Romaro Hartsfield stood silently as public defender Ann Finnell entered pleas of not guilty on Monday to charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The 32-year-old Harstfield was charged in the Sept. 2 shooting that left Collier paralyzed from the waist down and resulted in the amputation of his left leg.

Hartsfield is being held without bond and the judge set another hearing for Dec. 1.
